Ebonyi State University admits students on the basis of individual merit and without regard to race, color, national origin, creed, gender, or physical disability.

MODES OF ADMISSION-Undergraduate
Ebonyi State University admits candidates into her academic undergraduate programmes through the following modes :

  1. Direct Entry

  2. University Matriculation Examinations.

  3. EBSU Pre-Degree School internal examination

Note: 
Candidates must in addition to attaining an acceptable standard in the University Matriculation Examination, obtain one or a combination of two of the following qualifications :

  1. West African Examination Council/National Examination Council Senior School Certificate (SSC) or General certificate of Education ordinary level (GCE/"O" Level) with credits in five (5) subjects relevant to the course and obtained at not more than two sittings Credit in mathematics is required for all science and Management based courses, except where it is stated otherwise. Credit in English Language is normally required except otherwise stated.

  2. Grade II Teachers Certificate (TC II) with credit or merit passes in at least five (5) subjects

  3. NABTEB Qualification.
